I am terrible at remembering to claim my fics! So before I forget...

Tada! I wrote "Les Enfants Terribles" for this year's bottom_draco fest. Surprised? No one? All right then.

Title: Les Enfants Terribles
Adapted from: Dangerous Liaisons/Cruel Intentions
Pairing: Harry/Draco. With side helpings of Draco/Pansy, Blaise/Pansy, Harry/OMC, Draco/Luna, Luna/Neville, Neville/Pansy, and mentions of Draco/Others. Everyone kind of gets around in this universe.
Word Count: 31,000
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: An epistolary format and unreliable narrator, an AU where Voldemort stays dead and Harry grows up abroad, Draco involved in depraved acts of heterosexuality, mentions of (mild) top!draco, a discomforting treatment of gender politics, and * major character death like whoa.*
Notes: Dangerous Liaisons is one of my favorite films of all time and I've always wanted to see it adapted to the Potterverse (I even tried once before and failed spectacularly). Although this story has more adaptations than you can shake a stick at, I drew from three sources: the original 1782 novel, “Les Liaisons dangereuses”; the 1988 film adaptation, “Dangerous Liaisons”; and the 1998 modernization, “Cruel Intentions.” This was a painful labor of love that never would have seen the light of day if it weren't for my wonderful cheerleaders and betas. So much love and heartfelt thanks to mypetelephant sapphoatsunset and KT for their comments and critiques, and to sonata_de_morte whose relentless enthusiasm kept me writing even when I felt doomed to failure.
Summary: When Pansy Parkinson bets Draco Malfoy that he could never seduce Harry Potter, Draco quickly learns that games of deceit, dishonesty, and desire can have deadly consequences.

I don't know if I'm just incredibly behind the curve and everyone else knows about this and I was just off in a corner talking to myself while people discussed it, but I just heard about the AO3 Auction today. If this is old news and I'm all out of the loop, ignore me please.

Essentially, in an effort to raise money for AO3, the shiniest multi-fandom archive on the internets, someone is organizing an auction. Writers can donate their time to writing custom crafted fics for the highest bidder. I think this is a great idea, because charity is best when you get smut out of it. Am I right ladies?

SO EVERYONE SHOULD CONSIDER SIGNING UP, OR BIDDING, OR MAYBE DOING BOTH.

I still haven't decided if I want to participate as a writer. I don't know if my poor ego could handle it if I didn't get any bids, but I plan on drinking heavily tonight, so I might just say fuck it and throw my hat in the ring anyway. We'll see. I hope to see some of your names on the author's list too, when it goes up in the middle of April!

I am so excited about the first round of the new fest fortheloveofhp. Each round will focus on a specific character. Entries aren't limited by ship or genre or rating, as long as the given character is one of the main focuses. And the fact that the inaugural round is focused on Pansy Parkinson is just the cherry on top. I mean, you guys know how I feel about her, right? She's like, my fave.
